Blow hot, blow cold, the CPM is not sure whether to support Mr. Yousaf Ali MA on building a new convention centre at Bolghatty.
In one of the rarest of cases, initially, all parties had supported Lulu Mall man Yousaf Ali. On the face of it, he is just a business man, who does not have enemies. Every one is his friend. VS Achuthanandan supports him openly. Pinarayi Vijayan said no one in his party will oppose Lulu Mall.

The container road from Vallarpadam to where ever it is going, runs along the Mulavukad island, on the western side. Mulavukad was a beautiful island, especially on the westernside, the view was just as magnificent , people could use small boats, ( vanchi in Malayalam ) do fishing, take small sailing crafts (vallam in Malayalam) do fishing, and much more. Now there is the new road, that most people cannot use. The village island is connected to the new road only at one point, rest of the people use private bridges and so on.
When land is reclaimed, do the local residents have any claim on it.
Now, Mr Yousalf Ali MA could come and tell the people that he would open a walk way and play ground for the locals to enjoy themselves, instead fencing up the all the area and making concrete monsters on the Bolghatty land. Remember the land belongs to locals, thank you.
